Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of MachineAttachments.com, including its guides, manufacturer directory, user accounts and other platform features. By creating an account or using a feature that requires acceptance, you agree to these Terms. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.

2. Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to create an account. If you use MachineAttachments for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it.

3. Accounts

A Simple account can be used to access account-only features such as seller contact details. A Business account adds company information and may be required for commercial functions such as publishing Marketplace listings or claiming a manufacturer profile. You must provide accurate information, keep it reasonably current and protect your login credentials. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you promptly notify us of unauthorised use.

Business verification and manufacturer-profile claiming are trust and control mechanisms, not endorsements. We may require a business email, website-domain match, supporting information or manual review. A verified status may be suspended or revoked where information is inaccurate, control of a company or domain changes, or misuse is suspected.

4. Marketplace

The Marketplace is a listing and discovery service for used machine attachments and related equipment. MachineAttachments is not the buyer, seller, broker, auctioneer, payment provider, escrow provider, carrier, inspector or contracting party in a transaction between users. Buyers and sellers communicate and transact directly. Marketplace use is additionally governed by the Marketplace & Seller Terms.

5. Technical and editorial information

MachineAttachments provides independent informational material about attachments, machines, applications, compatibility considerations and manufacturers. The content is not engineering approval, a safety certification or a guarantee that a particular attachment and carrier combination is safe or compatible. Always confirm the exact combination, hydraulic requirements, coupler geometry, lifting capacity, machine limits and applicable instructions with the relevant manufacturer, qualified supplier or competent engineer before purchase, installation or operation.

Manufacturer profiles may be created editorially from public or submitted information. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the manufacturer sponsors, endorses or has a commercial relationship with MachineAttachments. Trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners.

6. User content and submissions

If you submit listing text, images, company information, corrections, documents or other material, you remain responsible for it. You confirm that you have the right to submit and publish it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display and technically process that material only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote and improve the relevant MachineAttachments service. This licence ends when the material is removed, except for reasonable backups, records and material that must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use the service to publish illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, infringing, unsafe or malicious content; impersonate another person or company; scrape or harvest personal data or protected content at unreasonable scale; bypass access controls; distribute malware; interfere with service security; or use the platform in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

8. Moderation and restrictions

We may remove or restrict content, listings or accounts when we reasonably believe they violate these Terms, the Marketplace terms, applicable law, intellectual-property rights, platform security or the rights and safety of others. Automated technical controls may be used to detect spam, abuse, malware or suspicious activity; substantive content decisions may also involve human review. Where applicable, we will provide the affected user with the main reason for a restriction. A user may request review by replying to the decision notice or contacting info@machineattachments.com.

Anyone may submit a sufficiently precise notice about allegedly illegal content using Report Illegal Content. Notices are assessed in a timely, diligent and objective manner.

9. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features for security, legal, operational or product reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Material changes to these Terms will be published on this page and, where required or reasonably appropriate, communicated to registered users before they take effect.

10. Third-party services and links

The site may link to manufacturers, sellers, service providers and other third parties. Their sites, products, statements and practices are controlled by them. A link does not constitute an endorsement unless we explicitly say otherwise.

11. Intellectual property

MachineAttachments site design, original editorial text, software and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of MachineAttachments intellectual property. You may use the public site for normal business research and evaluation, but may not republish substantial protected parts of the service as a competing database or service without permission.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. We are not liable for the condition, legality, ownership, safety, compatibility, quality, delivery or payment of equipment offered by third-party sellers, or for losses arising from a transaction between users. We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or other mandatory legal rights.

13. Suspension and account closure

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account where necessary to address serious or repeated violations, fraud, security threats, legal obligations or prolonged misuse. Where reasonably possible and legally appropriate, we will explain the reason.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without depriving a user of mandatory protections that apply under otherwise applicable law. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable procedural law may hear disputes.
