These Marketplace & Seller Terms apply when a business or authorised representative publishes, manages or responds to a used-equipment listing on MachineAttachments. They supplement the Terms of Use.
1. Platform role
MachineAttachments provides a venue where professional users can advertise and discover used machine attachments and related equipment. MachineAttachments does not own, inspect, certify, price, sell, buy, ship or take payment for listed equipment and does not become a party to a buyer–seller contract. Unless a separate paid service is clearly offered and accepted, MachineAttachments does not charge or collect transaction commission.
2. Seller eligibility
To publish a listing, you must have an eligible account, complete the required business details and have authority to act for the named seller. Business verification may be displayed as a trust signal, but ordinary Marketplace publishing does not automatically mean that the seller has been independently audited or endorsed by MachineAttachments.
The Marketplace is designed primarily for business-to-business equipment activity. Sellers must act in a business or professional capacity. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory rights that may apply if a buyer qualifies as a consumer under applicable law despite the intended B2B context.
A VAT number is not required merely to create a Marketplace seller profile unless a particular feature or applicable law later requires it. Sellers remain responsible for their own tax, VAT, invoicing and registration obligations.
3. Listing requirements
A listing must describe genuine equipment that the seller owns or is authorised to offer. Required information may include title, attachment type, brand, condition, price or price-on-request, country, city/region, description and at least one representative photo. Optional technical data must be accurate and should not imply guaranteed compatibility unless the seller can substantiate that claim.
Do not publish misleading prices, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, duplicate spam listings, unlawful products, unsafe content, malware links, contact details belonging to an unrelated third party, or images and documents you are not authorised to use.
4. Photos, trademarks and other content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You confirm that you have the necessary rights to use photographs, logos, product names and descriptions. You grant MachineAttachments the limited licence described in the general Terms so that the listing can be stored, resized, displayed, indexed and technically distributed through the Marketplace.
5. Public and account-only seller details
Seller or company name, general location and website may be visible publicly on a listing. Email address and phone number are intended to be revealed only to signed-in users when the seller has enabled those contact methods. Users must not harvest, bulk-export or misuse seller contact data.
6. Listing duration and status
Listings are normally published for the duration shown in the listing editor, currently 30 days, unless marked sold, reserved, archived or removed earlier. An expired listing may be relisted subject to the current Marketplace rules. Sellers should promptly mark equipment sold or unavailable.
7. Buyer responsibilities
Buyers must perform their own due diligence before committing to a purchase. This includes verifying the seller, ownership, serial numbers where relevant, equipment condition, service history, dimensions, hydraulic requirements, coupler/mounting compatibility, transport, taxes, payment terms and any inspection needed. MachineAttachments does not guarantee a listing or seller merely because the listing appears on the platform.
8. Direct transactions
All negotiation, contract formation, payment, invoicing, export/import, shipping, insurance, warranties, returns and disputes take place directly between buyer and seller unless MachineAttachments explicitly introduces a separate service for a specific function. Do not send money merely because a listing appears on MachineAttachments.
9. Moderation and removal
We may refuse, unpublish, restrict, archive or remove listings that are incomplete, deceptive, duplicative, illegal, infringing, unsafe, suspicious, outside Marketplace scope or inconsistent with these Terms. We may also restrict a seller account for serious or repeated violations. Where applicable, we will communicate the principal reason and provide a way to request review.
Suspected illegal content can be reported through Report Illegal Content or to info@machineattachments.com.
10. Fraud and safety
Users should treat unusual payment demands, requests to move immediately to unverifiable channels, mismatched company details, unrealistic pricing and refusal to provide normal evidence of ownership or condition as warning signs. We may request additional information or remove content while a credible fraud or safety report is reviewed.
11. Fees and future paid features
Publishing limits or paid Marketplace features may be introduced in the future. No new fee applies retroactively. Any charge, recurring plan or material commercial condition will be shown before the user accepts it.
12. Personal data
Marketplace account, seller, listing and access data are processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Contact
